The Samurai Museum Berlin will open its doors at the beginning of next year. Covering a total of 1,500 square meters, the museum will showcase a variety of unique and rare exhibits from the holdings of the Peter Janssen Collection, which has been built up over a period of 30 years. These exhibits will be presented in a forward-looking, multimedia and interactive manner using innovative technology. Ars Electronica Solutions is in charge of the conception and realization of the permanent exhibition.
On SO, 11.09.21, visitors can take a look behind the scenes of the emerging Samurai Museum for the second time as part of the Deep Space Screenings during the Ars Electronica Festival. The team will provide insights into the prototyping phase and the initial installation work on site in Berlin.
Selected central media installations in the Samurai Museum will be singled out and explained conceptually and technologically.
