Agora is Christian Fennesz’s first solo album since Mahler Remixed [Touch, 2014] and Bécs [Editions Mego, 2014]. Due to the temporary loss of a proper studio workspace he had to do the record with a minimum of equipment.

“[At first] it was a rather frustrating situation but later on it felt like back in the day when I produced my first records in the 1990s. In the end it was inspiring,” he said. At the Festival Fennesz will play his new album Agora alongside visuals by Lillevan.
