Re-Think Fashion
STARTS Lighthouse Re-FREAM is an invitation to artists and designers to re-think the future of fashion with state-of-the-art production technologies. Re-FREAM gives artists and designers access to new production technology, new materials and know-how to re-think the way fashion is produced, designed in urban spaces in collaboration with scientists.
In the next open call published on July 1 2020, Re-FREAM invites artists and designers to submit a project proposal within the following research challenges: Re-Think fashion from analog to connected, Re-Think fashion from 2D to 3D and Re-Think fashion from linear to sustainable circular systems.
In three locations, each of the 20 artists will receive 55.000 EUR funding for co-creating innovative art concepts with scientists within a nine-month-period. These three hubs are based in Valencia, Linz and Berlin and will be their co-creation space for at least one third of the project duration.
