European Digital Art and Science Network – Archiv Showcase

Realisation Archive Showmode: 01/2017 – 12/2017

The basis of the „European Digital Art and Science Network“ is a big manifold network consisting of scientific mentoring institutions (ESA, CERN, ESO and Fraunhofer MEVIS), the Ars Electronica Futurelab and seven European cultural partners (Center for the promotion of science, RS – DIG Gallery, SK – Zaragoza City of Knowledge Foundation, ES – Kapelica Gallery / Kersnikova, SI – GV Art, UK – Laboral, ES – Science Gallery, IE. The EU funded project lasted from 2014 to 2017.

The Art & Science Showcase in the Ars Electronica Online Archive was designed with the help of the funding. It secures the data in the internal archive database, provides an online overview of the individual activities of the network and also provides information about the network itself, the residency artists and the participating project partners and the jury. A new archive type has been created in the internal database structure, which allows several archive materials to be combined into one project and offers a selection of internal and external information.
