European Digital Deal – Events

For the first time in 2024, the entrants of the State of the ART(ist) Award organised by Ars Electronica with the support of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had the chance to win the Digital Deal Award, co-financed by the European Digital Deal project. The award honors artistic explorations of new technologies and their impact on democracy and freedom of expression.

The winner of the Digital Deal Award is The Queer Muslim Project by Rafiul Alom Rahman (IN), Rachita Sai Barak (IN), and Maniza Khalid (IN).
