Tue Jun 1, 2021, 10:30 am - 11:00 am
All times are given in Central European Time (CET / UTC +1).

CADSat and CanSat are two competitions organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) for students aged 11 and 14, respectively. The goal is to design or build a mini-satellite in the shape of a beverage can. These satellites are to fulfill a primary mission and a self-selected secondary mission. CADSat has a younger target group, here the mini-satellite is to be designed exclusively with a 3D program, which can serve as preparation for the CanSat competition. The participants will be supported by experts of the TU Vienna Space Team. The launch will take place with their self-built rocket at an altitude of about 600m. As a student, you can’t get any closer to a space mission!
