On the occasion of the 85th birthday of the Austrian composer Kurt Schwertsik, Maki Namekawa and Dennis Russell Davies play six Macbeth pieces from his oeuvre in “I’ll charm the air to give a sound …”. In addition, music by Joep Beving and Ludwig von Beethoven’s Fidelio awaits you. Both musicians will again be accompanied by Cori O’Lan’s visualizations, which interact with the music in real time. This concert is the last in the series with Dennis Russell Davies and Maki Namekwawa.
