Responding to the coronavirus pandemic, the !brute_force project focuses on the future of market-driven diagnostic wearables and AI-based health monitoring technologies. A human and dog performer climb through an installation of platforms and empty spaces. Both wear Electrocardiograph ECG/EKG diagnostic wearables, used for the medical monitoring of chronic heart and respiratory conditions.

A work about the experiment of a white European 30-year-old heterosexual human living in Tokyo without inhabiting a private apartment over a period of time. A speculative exploration of the possibilities of abolishing known forms of habitation.

Expanded Animation Symposium at UCA
The symposium Synaesthetic Syntax examines the interactions between animation and audio from a scientific perspective. Researchers and artists were asked to submit contributions on the subject of Synaesthetic Syntax: Sounding Animation/Visualising Audio. This scientific/artistic survey is kicked off by the media artist Rose Bond, who offers insights into her artistic work in public spaces, followed by panel discussions on the topics of "Hearing Color Seeing Sound", "In Front of Your Eyes and Ears", and "The Kinaesthetics of Music and Vision".

Expanded Animation-Symposium einen Prozess fort, der bereits 2013 begonnen hat: den weiten Bereich der animierten Bilderwelten jenseits ausgetretener Pfade zu kartieren. Das Symposium setzt den ursprünglich eingeschlagenen Weg fort und präsentiert theoretische Positionen und Perspektiven aus der Kunstwelt, dem F&E-Bereich und der Industrie.

Movement and landscape in flux, five figures wander across the landscape of Central Otago. Between the rocks and crevices, they move. In this moving image installation, we explore our persistent longing for belonging in an age of virtual travel. Filmed in the raw physical landscapes of Central Otago and the Motion Capture Studio of CoLab AUT in Auckland, we map between radically different scapes.
