MOSAIK: The Chamber Music Series of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz
Due to a pandemic, chamber music last year returned almost unnoticed to its historical roots: making music in a small circle. Originallyin the rooms of aristocrats, this practice reached bourgeois circles in the 18th century, but not until a good 100 years later did it find its way into concert halls. With Mosaik, the chamber music series of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the musicians are now leaving their “chambers” again to perform for a wider audience. The concert proceeds of the series are donated in their entirety to charitable institutions.
