“Komm in meine Welt”(en: come to my world) is a film by Simon Mück (AT) that was created at the Ars Electronica Festival 2019. The young director has previously submitted several times to the Prix Ars Electronica in the category u19-create your world. Because he drew attention to his talent, he was commissioned with this film project. The only requirement was that he should share the Postcity location with the Ars Electronica Festival for five days.

Theme, research, script development and hiring a film crew – let’s start!

With camera and crew they headed to the Gallery Spaces  in the bunker, involved project partners of create your world and stopped by at the u19-create your world Award Ceremony .

The film tells the story of a man who is invited by his granddaughter to the “create your world – Future Festival” for his birthday. Grandpa is amazed when he enters the big halls of the festival for the first time, the many impressions overwhelm him. He encounters his new surroundings more and more closed, but there he discovers something with which he can better understand the world around him. Watch the shortfilm and see for yourself…
