Winners of the Prix Ars Electronica, the world’s most traditional media art competition, have the chance to win the coveted Golden Nicas, as well as up to 10,000 euros per category, and to perform at the renowned Ars Electronica Festival in Linz. From thousands of submissions in the categories New Animation Art, Artificial Intelligence & Life Art, Digital Musics & Sound Art and u19 – create your world, the jurors selected the best works during the period from April 20 to 23, 2023. The winners of the respective categories will be announced on June 12, 2023, and the selected and awarded media artworks will be exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz from September 6 to 10, 2023.
