In Poetic Systems, the second episode in the Anniversary Series that will be broadcast via Ars Electronica Home Delivery, Artist and Key Researcher Stefan Mittlböck-Jungwirth-Fohringer embarks on a research for the poetic moment within the natural and artificially generated systems surrounding us.
Using the concepts developed over the years together with a wide variety of partners from the fields of economy, education and art for projects such as Unit M, Rheingold, ZeitRaum and Quell.Code – which were implemented in a collaborative process with SAP, Vienna Airport, WIFI and the Brucknerhaus – the artist shows how technical or political systems, but also systems of information, software or mobility, can be transformed into a shape that we humans can perceive – through his artistic approach.
