Ars Electronica connects: In 2024, the Festival is focused on the protagonists of positive development. Our extensive network of partners consists of these protagonists, who make us hopeful for better futures: academic institutions, public bodies, cultural organizations, and creative industries as well as the private sector, from sustainable industries to innovative technologies, come together at the Ars Electronica Festival.
In our Town Hall meetings, we want to give them a chance to connect with each other, but especially aim to enable new faces to join our community of forward-looking people and institutions. Focused on a variety of topics and open to anyone interested, these get-togethers give the opportunity of expanding professional networks and building new connections.
Participation is free of charge and open to anyone. Please register, as space is limited!
Town Hall Meeting: EIKON — Say Hello! to New Images
How will the evolving world of images change the ways of seeing and impact art, politics and society? EIKON (The International Magazine for Photography and Media Art) has been covering developments in visual arts and discussions about and around artistic image since 1991. Connecting images to reality has always been worth questioning, and this remains particularly true for the future of the image. As EIKON expands its thematic reach, you are invited to play an active role and share your expertise and perspective. Meet EIKON’s founder Carl Aigner, editor-in-chief Nela Eggenberger, Professor for Digital Humanities at Mozarteum Christopher Lindinger, and publicist on Art and AI Vladimir Alexeev (MERZMENSCH) for an exchange of ideas and contacts.
