A digital product for mediating contemporary practices of death, grief and memorialization

In the contemporary world, terminally ill individuals often become absorbed into a system that views them primarily as patients. Declines in physical and mental capacities lead to a loss of autonomy and a sense of total disintegration.

This project explores agency at the end of life by creating a digital legacy, using a diary of an unknown person with a palliative diagnosis as an example. It isan attempt to keep the connection to loved ones while fostering introspection and a sense of control.
