POSTCITY, First Floor, Art Thinking Lounge
Sa 7. Sep 2024 12:00 – 13:00

Ars Electronica connects: In 2024, the Festival is focused on the protagonists of positive development. Our extensive network of partners consists of these protagonists, who make us hopeful for better futures: academic institutions, public bodies, cultural organizations, and creative industries as well as the private sector, from sustainable industries to innovative technologies, come together at the Ars Electronica Festival.

In our Town Hall meetings, we want to give them a chance to connect with each other, but especially aim to enable new faces to join our community of forward-looking people and institutions. Focused on a variety of topics and open to anyone interested, these get-togethers give the opportunity of expanding professional networks and building new connections.

Participation is free of charge and open to anyone. Please register, as space is limited!

Fostering African-European Collaboration

This year, the first STARTS Prize Africa was awarded, seeking visionary concepts for shaping a sustainable future. While the STARTS Prize has consistently welcomed submissions from Africa, this newly established Prize aims to spotlight the continent’s creative scene more prominently. Many other initiatives are fostering collaborations between artists, companies, scientists, researchers and businesses, but how can we learn from our shared experiences and build even stronger foundations for the future? Join this discussion and exchange about exciting practices!
