Hybrid Art
Third Garden
Third Garden is an online art exhibition space where gardeners of the Third Life experiment with virtual explorers (AKA viewers) based on AR technology. Third Garden shows the research of interactive "play" with visitors that players (AKA artists) in the real world have been contemplating and studying in the web garden of the Third Life. Participating artists share the progress and result (artwork) of creation in the Third Garden.
Termination Shock (The Ends of Everythings)
Andy Gracie (UK/ES)
Termination Shock (The Ends of Everythings) is a triptych project building on parallel obsessions with cosmology and post-apocalyptic scenarios. As a reaction to current disaster rhetoric, the artist foregrounds the unavoidable and inescapable apocalypse of the absolute end. By studying the evolution of the Sun, the gravitational dynamics of our galaxies and the influence of dark matter, this project moves towards the end-of-the-Universe phenomenon known as "heat death".

Creative Question Challenge: Hybrid forms of being together
3 137 (GR), Audrey-Flore Ngomsik (FR), Christos Carras (UK/GR)
Creative Question Challenge: Examining organic and digital ecosystems
Hypercomf (GR), Markos Digenis (GR)
Will there be no poverty and zero hunger across the world in ten years? Is this planet to be populated in ten years by billions of healthy and educated humans? Is comfortability or autonomy more important to well-being? Can you be comfortably autonomus? These are the questions scientists were asked who applied to an open call to collaborate with artists in the STUDITOPIA residency program.

Let us finish what we started'. This is how the UN introduces its first Sustainable Development Goal - to end poverty in all forms and dimensions by 2030. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their 169 targets have been described as a sprawling, misconceived mess of grandiose intentions. The title of the development agenda itself - 'Transforming our World' - oozes utopian ambition. It was adopted by 193 nations in 2015. Five years later and with ten years left, how do you think our world will transform?

EMAP group exhibition: Quarantine
Robertina Šebjanič (SI), Gjino Šutić (HR), Anna Dumitriu, Alex May (UK), Tiziano Derme, Daniela Mitterberger (AT), Taavi Suisalu (EE), Quimera Rosa (FR/AR/ES), Kat Austen (UK/DE)
Over the last few years, the EMAP/EMARE network of media arts organizations have produced a multitude of works dealing with life-science and cybernetics that examine the fragile ecological equilibrium of life on Earth. A few of these artists find inspiration from scientific discoveries like archaea, a group of unicellular micro-organisms believed to be the oldest form of life on Earth. Other sources of inspiration include the impact of pharmaceuticals on life in the water and the sonic vision of bats. These artistic explorations envision future evolution in magical and often transgressive ways.
Beyond Human Perception

Journey: Adriatic Garden | aqua_forensic 2.0
Adriatic Garden | aqua_forensic 2.0 connects two places by the Adriatic Sea: Dubrovnik (HR) and Koper (SI) and gives special attention to our commitment to the values of care, compassion, environmental justice, action-taking and cooperation with the Adriatic Sea and its creatures. The project framework is the aqua_forensic, an ongoing art and science research method developed by Robertina Šebjanič (SI) and Gjino Šutić (HR), which sheds light on the presence of invisible anthropogenic chemical pollutants in the water environment.
PSM presents Catherine Biocca
PSM Gallery (DE)
Within her body of work, Catherine Biocca frequently shapes environments that insinuate total autonomy from the viewer’s reality. It is almost as if, by visitation, we are actually intruding upon private property or a theater stage, interrupting the very happenings taking place. Her characters, often recognizable as anthropomorphized assemblages, are consistently active and presently conscious within their surroundings.
Mediation in AIR Gallery
Pangardenia is an epidemic that has taken over the gardens and gardens that have taken over us. It vests everyone with the desire to grow or be grown by somebody else. We, St.-Petersburg artists, want to explore this phenomenon, find the new life forms generated by this epidemic and study the old ones which were preserved and hidden in the gardens. Pangardenia is made up of four paths: Parniki, Abandoned gardens, Wandering gardens, and Post(non)human gardens. One day for each path (subtheme) and a closing move of Pangardenia.
