Ars Electronica’s Deep Space 8K once again serves as a innovative development platform for shared streaming experiences: when 7,680 x 4,320 pixels along with multichannel sound are transmitted live from PSNC’s labs in Poland to Deep Space 8K in Linz using a variety of cutting-edge technologies and prototype hardware and software, even the most experienced Ars Electronica Futurelab researchers’ excitement mounts. For the first time in history, international university teams will compete in two formulas: on-site and remotely.
Attend presentations on the commercialization of the Moon and flights to Mars, as well as the use of space technologies on Earth, and experience the world’s largest active Mars volcano on the European Rover Challenge (ERC) track. The event will be held on September 10th to 12th at Kielce University of Technology in Poland. Excerpts will be broadcast to the Ars Electronica Center’s Deep Space 8K as part of the festival.
