What ties O-Wells‘ career together is a certain emotionality that gently addresses the listener from the side. This approach to music-making is naturally continued in his style of djing: Incorporating his personal history of producing ambient, breakbeat and house to fast-paced Detroit-influenced techno under his second moniker Frankfurt Bass, Lennard Poschmann draws from this rich pool to create his own musical language. The result is what matters: An electric and enthralling atmosphere that challenges the audience.
Over the past years he has released with Die Orakel, Mojuba’s a.r.t.less, LARJ, Innervisions, 777 Records, among others. With a residency at Offenbach’s Robert Johnson he had the space to perfect his craft, and even though he now lives in Berlin he remains closely connected to his native Frankfurt.
