Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony brings together all winners of this year’s Prix Ars Electronica u19–create your world. The young winners are the heart of this event, because not only are their projects presented, but they also get the opportunity to pass on their own enthusiasm directly to us in a short interview. Immediately afterwards they will be awarded the respective prize.

In the course of the award ceremony the exhibition u19–create your world Exhibition can be visited, which is also located in the POSTCITY at FIRST FLOOR at the CREATE YOUR WORLD SPIRAL FALLS, where the award-winning projects will be exhibited. Some of the young artists can be found there and give support in trying out the works.
With the Prix Ars Electronica, we annually invite all artists worldwide to send us their projects in the fields of art, technology and science. At the same time, we always ask all young people up to the age of 19 throughout Austria about their ideas and projects for the future. With the slogan “CREATE YOUR WORLD” in mind, a five-member jury once again identified the 24 most worthy projects from the more than 700 entries.
