Foolish Flame is a transdisciplinary piece that explores the fraught frontiers of climate change and our inherited cultural trauma. Through collective experience and real-time generative technology, visitors witness an evolving landscape of environmental narratives.
Traversing between the liminal space of the bog and a realm beyond, Foolish Flame unfolds as a dynamic storytelling system, conjuring new digital rituals of connection, synchronicity, and ecological reflection.

  • Leon Butler

    Leon Butler ist ein Künstler, der an der Schnittstelle von Kunst und Technologie arbeitet. Seine Arbeiten wurden unter anderem vom Type Directors Club, dem 100 Archive, den Digital Media Awards und weiteren Institutionen ausgezeichnet. Zu seinen jüngsten Projekten zählen Imagined Islands, Dwelling, Performance Surveillance und Emperor 101. Er hat seine Werke national und international präsentiert und Aufträge vom Arts Council, der European Media Arts Platform sowie der Science Gallery erhalten.

  • Peter Power

    Peter Power ist ein transdisziplinärer Schriftsteller, bildender Künstler, Komponist, Sounddesigner und Regisseur aus Waterford, Irland. Er hat einen Abschluss in Biochemie sowie einen Master in Komposition. Als Künstlerischer Leiter des preisgekrönten Sparsile Collective schafft er postdisziplinäre Werke. Er ist Associate Artist des BETA Festivals und scheidender Artist-in-Residence des Cork Midsummer Festival, der National Sculpture Factory sowie weiterer internationaler Residenzen.
