Die ModeratorInnen der drei verschiedenen Prix-Forum-Panels werden gemeinsam über die diesjährige Projektauswahl reflektieren. Besonderes Augenmerk wird darauf gerichtet, welche Schlüsselwörter in den Paneldiskussionen (wieder) auftauchten und welche Rückschlüsse aus den Themen der einzelnen Arbeiten im Bezug auf die allgegenwärtigen Frage "But How?" gezogen werden können.

We live in the anthropocene, where human and natural ecosystems collide. In this interactive visualization, we explore the emergence and breakdown of complex systems from the cellular to the planetary scale. Life emerges from the interactions of biomolecules, cities from connecting people, the global society from sharing ideas. These systems can be beautiful, but also fragile.

Ars Electronica ANIMATION FESTIVAL 2022

After two very challenging years, the Ars Electronica Animation Festival returns to its physical space. The screening programs and presentations will be shown at the JKU Campus and the Ars Electronica Center Deep Space 8K. The Expanded Animation Symposium and the Synaesthetic Syntax conference, organized with the UCA since 2020, will take place at the Ars Electronica Center.

Beyond Quantum Music — LP Duo

LP Duo will premiere new original compositions written for two hybrid pianos within the art and science project Beyond Quantum Music and during their residency at the Kavli Institute — Quantum Nanoscience and Bionanoscience department (Technical University in Delft, Netherlands)

Postdigital Natures of Planet B untersucht die Rolle von natürlichen und virtuellen Umgebungen im Kontext der Architektur. Dabei werden eine Reihe neuartiger, organischer und alternativer Baumaterialien eingesetzt, um eine alternative, bewohnbare Ökosphäre für menschliche und nicht-menschliche Akteur*innen zu schaffen.
