In the shadow of a climate and ecological emergency that affects all areas of social, political and economic life, the purpose and scope of action of museums must (again) be questioned. How can museums reposition themselves in an age of climate change? Can museums inspire action on planetary crises. Can museums inspire action on planetary crises, and can museal institutions be reimagined for a more diverse, intersectional publics?

In the co-located game Deep Delivery, designed specifically for Deep Space in the Ars Electronica Center, players assume the role of delivery services that take orders from the participating viewing audience, competing for the most accurate and fastest delivery performance.

Ouroboros

Ouroborous proposes a bioplastic LP record based on a circular relationship with new materiality in a post-extractive age. Combining new bioplastics and audio aesthetics, the installation entangles extraction, material longevity and the climate to question the position of the human in global and local ecosystems. Ouroboros is the exhibition outcome of the Circular Records project by Kat Austen and Fara Peluso.
