JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas speaks with Stefan Kaegi and Helgard Haug of Rimini Protokoll.
In 2000, Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi and Daniel Wetzel established the theatre-label Rimini Protokoll and since then, they have worked under this name in different configurations. Piece-by-piece, they expand on the possibilities of theater to create new perspectives on reality.

Rimini Protokoll create their stage plays, interventions, performative installations, and audio plays together with experts who have acquired their expertise and skills from outside of the theatrical world. They also enjoy theatrically transposing spaces and social structures. Most of their work is interactive and playful in its use of technology.
