Expanded Animation: ASIFA Austria Forum

The second symposium day starts with ASIFA Austria Forum. Pedro Harres (BR/DE) will give an overview of the lessons he learned over the four years of making his 2D animated, interactive VR-piece “From the Main Square.” Fanni Fazakas discusses the potential of XR to elevate the stories of underprivileged or underrepresented people and to work as a tool for social change. Last, Kris Hofmann will talk about her work with animation and augmented reality, focusing on her collaboration with animal welfare organizations.
