The inspiration for our theme originates from a Buddhist term — „zidu.“ „Zì“ means „oneself,“ and „du“ means „to cross“, literally translating to the act of crossing a river by oneself. In a broader philosophical sense within Buddhism, „zidu“ means relying on one’s own strength, through internal effort and practice, to overcome difficulties, escape adversity.
