Sustainable Futures & New Pathways to Innovation is an interactive online experience that explores three concrete challenges tackled by artists who have participated in S+T+ARTS across three thematic areas: Tangible Data, Sustainable Futures and Navigating the Digital Realm.

In this workshop the creative team at Domestic Data Streamers will walk you through 8 invisible contemporary violences that have a great impact in our everyday lives. The team will talk about the conceptual research behind the project, how they’ve turned such complex information into an interactive exhibition and will end up with a live collective debate on meaningful questions around the topic.

Art Thinking Forum
Hakuhodo x Ars Electronica

The Art Thinking Forum is a platform created jointly by Ars Electronica and Hakuhodo to discuss and exchange ideas on how to utilize art for a better society. The forum will discuss the role of art in the future through cutting-edge examples of creative chemical reactions between various fields and art.

The Science+Technology+Arts = STARTS Initiative is a program of the European Commission that encourages synergies between the arts and technology that support the innovation industry and society. STARTS promotes the inclusion of artists in research and innovation activities throughout Europe.

When 7,680 x 4,320 pixels along with multi-channel sound are transmitted live from PSNC's labs in Poland to Deep Space 8K in Linz using a variety of cutting-edge technologies and prototype hardware and software, even the most experienced Ars Electronica Futurelab researchers' excitement mounts. For the first time in history, international university teams will compete in two formulas: on-site and remotely.

Educational and production laboratories that create excellent conditions for contemporary art creation, audience development, and art market development in the field of contemporary investigative art. The network of laboratories is set up in five Slovenian cities (and open to new partners in the initiative). They enable the establishment of a critical mass for sustainable functioning of the entire field of intermedia art in the country. In this way, we create excellent conditions for supporting the production of art projects from all over the world.
