Amazing interactions take place when human creativity, natural beauty of growing microbes and artificial intellect of machines meet each other. In this workshop we dig into the world of art and science in a very unusual way. Together with Futurelab researcher and artist Yoko Shimizu we discuss how unbelievable ideas might inspire technological development. Step by step we explore how graphic gadgets can be converted into biological printers, learn how to draw with living inks and train an artificial intelligence (AI) program with microbial masterpieces.
