The Bikekitchen Linz is an open non-profit self-help workshop where anyone can learn to repair, pimp, service or modify their bike, no matter how much experience they have. The bikekitchen works in a resource-friendly way, using almost exclusively recycled materials and taking a strong stand against exploitation and waste of resources. The team offers help for self-help by not only providing special bike tools, but also supporting visitors* with expertise in their repair projects.
Credits
The bicycle self-help workshop is supported by a collective in which all participants have an equal say. Everyone works on a voluntary basis and donated money goes directly back into improving the infrastructure.
