The new university should have a critically intentional view of its purposes, working to create a safe place for study and research that allows a true diversity of people to study without hardship. Interdisciplinary work must be intersectional across cultural, social, and economic lines. This means that the university should be shaped with a strong commitment to the welfare of its students and teachers.
