MIRO Board Garden Araucania + Green Art Lab Alliance (GALA) Virtual Encounters: Viewing, Transforming, Creating Landscapes Through Art

Through the partners of the Green Art Lab Alliance, videos, images, words and forms from Europe, Asia and Latin America have been connected on a whiteboard to explore questions about the management of natural habitats and sustainability. Visitors can actively participate in this virtual exercise and accept the invitation to travel virtually through this experimental mapping of connections and exchanges.

Galactic Wine Sharing Party

Pop by Hong Kong for a virtual drink with the Galactic media art community? 50% of what Festivals are about, is meeting friends and discovering new people, and this is what has been lost in the circumstances of the pandemic. But the technologically mediated routes, which we are forced to stick to, funnel us toward a more extensive intermixing of people who are usually distanced geographically, and culturally.

24h Rave

The 24 hours rave is meant as a connecting planetary community event, which can suggest a physical connection to all participants through auditory perception. Driven by the rhythm, touched by the sound, we want to dance and feel with you through all time zones, transcending social, political, and spatial boundaries for one night and one day.

Bal Masqué: EMAP Party at Ars Electronica, organized by IMPAKT

The Bal Masqué is a virtual club night with online dance battles, a digital masked ball and a multitude of individual VJ-set. You are all invited to wear your most crazy digital masks on Saturday night and party with an international community.

Enter the Rave Space on Friday Night

Garden Berlin is presenting a hybrid rave night in Berlins first virtual 3D club. Get in touch with friends and strangers from all over the world as an avatar.

Excel Spread Sheet Party

Collaborative Futures, a collective of academics and creatives, are interested in the development of hybrid virtual platforms for transdisciplinary collaboration that puts at its centre concerns around care, consent, equity, and inclusion. We explore how hybrid virtual platforms can support the reorganisation of spaces and disrupt existing typologies and forms of working, focusing on an ecology of openness, radical inclusion, cooperation, understanding and empowerment.

“Dear Miro” – Action Board

Sustainable Internet for all - is that possible? And what could that mean? In a Collective Whiteboard we would like to offer all participants of the online festival community access to feel addressed and to enter a joint exchange about how digital (living) spaces should be designed in the close future.

Memo Futurum

Memo Futurum invites you to imagine your personal future 25 years from now and to then share this vision with others in the form of a voice memo. At the end of 2021, the memos are transferred to vinyl records and will be stored away for 25 years. Memo Futurum is intended to become a ritual, repeated, and expanded every 25 years. Starting September 7 through the end of the year, you can record and share your personal voice memo via the ars.electronica.art/memofuturum website.

Social Media Wall

This year we will again have a Social Media Wall, which is an integral part of our Community Challenges and combines local, viral and physical. Share your experiences and moving moments during the festival with others, no matter where you are!
