For the fourth time, the anniversary of the opening of Cubo Negro at the Sinaloa Science Center in Sinaloa, Mexico, was celebrated. Cubo Negro is a multidimensional, interactive presentation and experience space inspired by the Deep Space at the Ars Electronica Center. It was developed by Ars Electronica Solutions and opened in 2020.
Michael Mondria and his maintenance team were on-site. Maintenance of installations is one of the competencies that Ars Electronica Solutions has taken on, alongside the development of experiential worlds. Maintenance is embedded in the export of the Deep Space. Additionally, discussions took place regarding the next steps of collaboration and the further development of Cubo Negro. Cubo Negro was the first Deep Space exported by Ars Electronica Solutions across borders.
