KEPLER’S GARDENS

Young Professionals 14–19 Anerkennung

The project Radicalization on the Net was developed as part of a diploma thesis at the Commercial Academy in Landeck and consists of several elements: Conducting a self-experiment, planning, designing and publishing an information brochure, designing and hosting a workshop, and creating and publishing a 30-minute report.

The video work, the basics and the process of radicalization on the Internet as well as possible prevention measures and possible psychological aspects concerning perpetrators and victims will be comprehensively analyzed and also highlighted on the basis of real examples and cases.

Furthermore, technical as well as legal issues will be examined in order to reflect the prevailing situation regarding extremism on the Internet as realistically as possible. The primary goal of this project is to raise awareness and to contribute to the sensitization of society regarding this disruptive change of the Internet, which increasingly determines people’s daily lives due to the advancing digitalization.
