Outcome presentation of the CCI Thrive workshop and the Linz Center of Mechatronics Mechathon
Scientific and quantitative results are the cornerstone of what we consider the truth today. Digital transformation and data-driven methods can not only help the cultural and creative sectors and industries (CCSI) to thrive but can also be fueled with inspirations from these sectors to further amplify their impact.
As reality unfolds in all its complexity and sophistication, such value models and even more their impact measurements require a tailored context to truly comprehend their significance. Not only the broader public, but often also professionals are struggling to connect these results to their own practice and make the most of it.
Ars Electronica understands itself as a vivid platform to collaboratively discuss these transformative journeys and unfold possible use-cases and their values. Together with the Linz Center of Mechatronics professionals ideate during the first festival days on scenarios using digital tools to address the great challenges of our time: from data forests to systemic change (circular economy) and sustainable development goals. As part of the collaboration within the Creative Europe funded program CCI Thrive, professionals from across the world explore cutting-edge digital technologies as a means to assess and harness the non-economic values of the cultural and creative sector.
Together, they will provide insights into their elaborations in a joint outcome presentation and paint vivid scenarios that depict how these digital instruments can be used for the common good.
