Panel Discussion about the project and the Open Call for Artists
How can humans interact in digital spaces in the future? How can we engage in embodied tasks that include both human and digital avatars? This is what SHARESPACE is all about – a European R&D consortium funded by Horizon Europe.
For this project, three artworks will be created in Deep Space 8K at the Ars Electronica Center utilizing SHARESPACE technology. Through an Open Call, we are looking for two external media artists to develop two of these artworks. Being selected means entering a process of artistic exploration and incorporating research results of ongoing research and core concepts such as ‘synchronization’ and ‘amplification’. During this discussion, members from the consortium and the artist developing the first work, made by the Ars Electronica Futurelab, will sit together to discuss SHARESPACE, its opportunities and challenges, and the Open Call for artists.
