Die Diskussions- und Workshop-Veranstaltung Future Mobility Lounge in Yokohama, Japan, drehte sich um die Themen zukünftige Mobilität und Nachhaltigkeit. Die Besucher*innen, von Volksschulkindern bis hin zu Erwachsenen, waren eingeladen, sich von künstlerischen und kulturellen Beiträgen inspirieren zu lassen und rund um Roboter Spot neue Mobilitätsideen zu entwickeln.

Globale Folgen des russischen Angriffskrieges
Was ist Wahrheit, welche Rolle spielt der Journalismus und wie können Kunst und Journalismus inmitten scheinbar endloser Krisen einen sinnvollen Beitrag leisten? Dataspace ist ein Projekt, das eine Art „Zeitung der Zukunft“ vorschlägt. Im Deep Space 8K des Ars Electronica Center wurden dafür Daten zu den tiefgreifenden Auswirkungen des russischen Krieges gegen die Ukraine präsentiert.

Wissenschaftskommunikation im Museum
Deck 50 im Naturhistorischen Museum Wien ist eine partizipative Plattform für Wissenschaftskommunikation. Hier können Besucher*innen verschiedene umwelt- und gesellschaftsrelevante Themen mit praktischen Experimenten aktiv erkunden und dabei zu „Citizen Scientists“ werden.

Future Ink
Wo ist meine Seele in der Kreativität?
Das Future Ink Project ist ein Forschungsprojekt rund um die Zukunft der Kreativität unter Berücksichtigung aller Aspekte von Tinte. Im Rahmen von Future Ink wurden verschiedene Prototypen entwickelt, von der Verwendung von Tablets und Drohnen zum Malen bis zur Visualisierung von Gehirnströmen und Körpersignalen als immersive dreidimensionale Tinte.

Fluxels
Choreographed swarm of ground robots as a medium of art
Fluxels ist ein Wortspiel, inspiriert durch die Assoziation von Spaxels, „Fluxus“ und die ästhetische Qualität schneller, fließender Bewegungen. Es ist der Name einer im Ars Electronica Futurelab entwickelten Bodenroboterplattform, die im Rahmen einer Zusammenarbeit mit NTT für Schwarm-Bot-Performances konzipiert wurde.
