One-actress experimental theatrical performance via webcam, in livestream format, where the original video component is visually transformed and processed in real time through Max/Msp Jitter, in a way that the resulting image is affected by the sound of the voice and body of the same performer, reacting to the energy, rhythm and/or dynamics of the speech and movements.

Elliptical Memories, for six plus one performer

Specially composed and designed for Ars Electronica 2020, this work will be performed at a distance from multiple locations and presented in a VR room. The sound sources are centralized in a single platform designed in Max/Msp, to perform Real Time Processing over six independent audio channels.

Documentary premiere followed by a talk: A brief excursion to Valparaiso streets that is shaped as an essay-documentary. This 30-minute film shows the city from the perspective of sound and silence, aiming to narrate us part of a hidden history, starting from missing or absent sounds that have disappeared by the passing of time and also, recently, due to confinement.

A documentary-essay film of an art-action made in Valparaíso, Chile, in December 2019. The country had risen without return against a ruthless neoliberal economy. On a ruin of irons, a metaphor about the ending of modernity, this small art-action makes a conjuration with the installation of a symbol that sentences a destiny of justice and equality.

Dieses Projekt dokumentiert über zwanzigtausend Patente auf sozial manipulierende Informationstechnologie. In Sociality sammelte und bewertete Cirio Internet-Erfindungen, die beim US-Patentamt eingereicht wurden. Anschließend forderte er die Öffentlichkeit auf, die Technologien zur Überwachung und Manipulation sozialer Verhaltensweisen zu teilen, zu kennzeichnen und zu verbieten.

Voll oder leer; farbig oder transparent; null oder eins; unter oder über - c o m p u t e r 1.0 stellt sich ein Display für die Zukunft vor, indem er auf Displays unserer Vergangenheit schaut. Die Künstler Julian Goldman und die Künstlerin Victoria Manganiello entwickeln ein großformatiges Textil, das von Hand aus hohlen Polymerschläuchen und Naturfaserfäden gewebt wird. Eine strukturierte Folge von farbigen Flüssigkeits-/Öl-/Luftpixeln wird in die Schläuche gepumpt, die Reihenfolge wird von den Daten benachbarter Bewegungssensoren und einer Reihe von computergesteuerten Ventilen, Luftkompressoren und Pumpen diktiert. Dieses Textil wird als Lo-Fi-Computerdisplay funktionieren, das aus altbewährten natürlichen Materialien und Techniken hergestellt und mit modernen digitalen Technologien kombiniert wird.

Design by Decay, Decay by Design

Design by Decay, Decay by Design ist eine Reihe von Artefakten, die designten Verfall darstellen. Sie wurden im Rahmen der Ginkgo Bioworks Creative Residency 2019 zum Thema „Wie gestaltet man eine Welt ohne Abfall?“ gefertigt. Als Architektin und Künstlerin erkenne ich, dass die meisten meiner Kreationen auf der Mülldeponie landen. Wenn das der Fall ist, will ich Abfall entwerfen, mit dem ich leben kann, Abfall, der eine gewisse Attraktivität behält, indem er sich vor den Augen und vor Ort zersetzt. Lasst mich Abfall so entwerfen, wie die Natur ihn entwirft, nicht nur als das Produkt von Abbau und Zerstörung, sondern auch als Input für Erneuerung und Konstruktion.
